Laundry Centers - How can I reduce the Wash cycle time?
Applies to
- Laundry Centers
Solution
Sorting your laundry into smaller loads will help decrease the cycle time.
For small loads of 10 items or less, try using the Quick Wash cycle which only takes about 23-28 minutes, depending on load size.
Ensure that your load is balanced by adding your detergent and laundry in the tub first, before starting the cycles. In the event that your washer encounters an unbalanced load, it will perform an extra rinse cycle to re-balance.
This can add about 10-30 minutes to the cycle. See the FAQ on how to avoid out-of-balance problems.
Make sure the washer is getting the recommended water pressure. If your water pressure is low it can take longer for the tub to fill with water, which adds time to the wash cycle.
