Grill and Griddles - How do I open the 5-in-1 Grill and Griddle flat for cooking on both plates?

Solution
For use as a griddle or table-top grill, press the open-flat hinge release button on the side of the unit while grasping the handle.
Rotate the lid all the way open until the handle rests on the table or counter.
