Ranges - What is a Warmer Zone?
Applies to
- Ranges
Solution
The purpose of the warmer zone is to keep hot, cooked foods at serving temperature.
- It is recommended to use this feature to keep cooked foods hot such as: vegetables, gravies, casseroles, soups, stews, breads, pastries and oven-safe plates.
- Do not heat cold food on the warmer zone.
- Use only plates, utensils and cookware recommended for the oven and cooktop on the warmer zone.
- To set the warmer zone control:
- Turn the warmer zone control knob to ON. The warmer zone uses a pre-set temperature designed to keep foods at serving temperature.
- When ready to serve, turn the warmer zone OFF. The warmer zone will remain hot until the hot surface indicator light turns off.
