Delivery and Installation Guide - Microwaves and Range Hood

Issue

If you are planning to exhaust the microwave or range hood to the outside, there must be an existing exhaust duct located in the cabinet above the installation location. The exhaust duct size must match the vent size of the new microwave.
Delivery teams are not able to modify cabinets, install new ventilation ductwork, connect microwave or range hood to ductwork or modify any existing ventilation ducts.
Delivery teams are unable to drill through a tile backsplash due to the possibility of cracking the tile.
For custom hoods (chimney or island), there may be additional extensions or kits necessary. Please contact our call center at 800-669-6779 to confirm.
