Stone-Baked Pizza - Cheese or toppings burned onto broil element and need cleaning
Issue
- Cheese or toppings burned onto broil element and need cleaning
Applies to
- Stone-Baked Pizza Oven
Solution
- To transfer the pizza, tilt the peel, touching the tip to the hot stone and push forward, using the pizza shield as a backstop to slide it off.
- If cheese or toppings get burnt onto the element, allow it to burn off during normal operation of the oven.
- Do not attempt to clean the stone between pizzas. It's extremely hot, and any leftover crumbs or residue will burn off naturally.
